Yes it is still September, and yes I’m discussing Christmas! With Christmas Fairs booked in and to prepare for, the festive season starts early in the year for LMJ. Packaging and raw materials are ordered in advance, new jewellery designs are drawn out and practiced.
New Jewellery designs can be a tricky part of the process. For me, I want to ensure that what LMJ offers to customers is as unique design as possible and of a high quality piece of jewellery.
Christmas Fair prep can take its toll, with in previous years many a late nights are spent handmaking designs ready for the first Christmas Fair in the beginning of November.
Inspite of the the nights, the beginning of November is always exciting for me, I get to see the years hard work on show and my anticipation on how the new designs will be received by customers always makes me a little nervous.
I usually have some sort of new element to my fair display, and last year it was the relaunch of the LMJ brand.
This year there won't be a major display change, but I will have a little tinker and play of the display.
This year I'll mainly be focusing on launching a few new jewellery designs, and I’m looking forward to what customers will think of them.
